1. On Knead, select Physiotherapy under Know the Care You Want? or choose it in the care field.
  2. Choose Any Physiotherapy if you want to compare the broad category, then continue to location.
  3. Enter a location you can reach and choose the matching suggestion, or use an offered map or recent-location option.
  4. Open When and check Today. Choose a useful time range, then select Done and Find Appointments.

Interface checked October 26, 2026. Knead searches a rolling three-day window; saved preferences can change the initially selected date or time.

An example: you need an appointment after work

Suppose you finish work at 5PM and can travel for 30 minutes. In When, choose Today and Evening (5–10PM), or use Custom to narrow the hours further. Then compare the branch address and start time together; a 5:15PM opening may be too early for your journey.

This is a search example, not a claim that an evening appointment is available. Check any arrival or intake instructions from the clinic.

Check initial assessment versus follow-up before choosing a time

Read the full service label and clinic instructions. Initial assessment, follow-up and returning-patient appointments are not interchangeable. Jane lets clinics limit online booking or ask new patients to contact reception.

If you are new and only see returning-patient slots, contact the clinic instead of choosing a follow-up just because it is sooner. Our appointment-type guide explains what to ask.

Compare the exact appointment

  • Branch: check the street address, especially if a clinic has several locations.
  • Practitioner and service: make sure the option matches what you intend to book.
  • Length and fee: confirm the price and time allowed; neither follows from the earliest start time alone.
  • Payment: ask your insurer about coverage and the clinic about direct billing.

For a more local starting point, browse physiotherapy in Kitsilano, Downtown or Mount Pleasant. Our BC referral guide separates booking access from insurer and program requirements.

If no suitable appointment remains today

Change one constraint at a time: widen the travel area, try a different time range or compare another practitioner if you are comfortable doing so. Check tomorrow if your schedule allows. You can also contact reception about times or appointment types that are not available online.

Knead covers public calendars from selected Greater Vancouver clinics, not every provider. A search with no matching result does not establish that the whole city is booked. Same-day availability also does not determine whether a service is clinically appropriate for you.

Finish booking with the clinic

An opening on Knead is an observed time, not a reservation. On the clinic's own booking page, confirm the date, time, practitioner, branch, service, fee and new-patient eligibility. Read cancellation and late-arrival terms, complete its intake and booking steps, and look for the clinic's confirmation.

You do not need a Knead account to search or follow a booking link. The clinic may require an account in its own system. Use the clinic's secure process for health and insurance details.

Sources and scope

This guide explains booking and payment questions. Your clinic confirms appointment eligibility; your insurer or Health Insurance BC confirms benefits. Sources were checked on 2026-10-26, unless a section shows a more recent check. Read how we prepare and update these guides.
